Print accessibility guidelines

 Larger font sizes

Wherever possible, we use 12-point font or larger in our print pieces.

 Type contrast

Place type in high-contrast areas:

  • flat areas of colour
  • subtle gradients
  • white space

When placing type on an image, always use a clear area with high contrast as opposed to a ‘busy’ section of an image.

 Text colour

Although important information should never be communicated using text in a faculty colour, white text used on a faculty colour will provide enough contrast.
